Both are anti-static flooring, so why does some cost only 85 yuan per square meter while others cost over 100 yuan? The crucial answer lies in "thickness". What seems like a tiny difference in dimensions actually relates to product quality and project safety.
From the perspective of industry standards, anti-static flooring has clear regional adaptation requirements for thickness: in southern China, it needs to reach 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, or 1.5mm; in northern China, the requirement is 1.0mm, 1.2mm, or above. This is the foundation for ensuring service life and performance. However, low-cost, low-quality flooring often "cuts corners" on thickness. For example, the thickness of the core steel plate is drastically reduced from the standard 0.8mm to 0.3mm or 0.4mm. Such panels cannot bear normal loads at all and are prone to breaking under slight pressure. The tube wall thickness of the supporting beams also fails to escape "thinning"—reduced from 0.8mm or 1.0mm to 0.3mm or 0.4mm. This leads to insufficient supporting capacity of the beams, causing the edges of the flooring to easily warp; in severe cases, it may even result in flooring collapse or breakage, and the subsequent maintenance costs will increase significantly instead.
